The following is a summary of the portable

premium Model

The materials used for construction include:

• Main support frames from 2 ½” square, 14 ga galvanized tubing
• Roof and wall metal cladding from 26 ga corrugated sheets
• Purlins from 16 ga x 4 ¼” wide x 1 ¾” high hat track sections
• Knee braces from 16 ga channel, in 3’ lengths, typical
• Diagonal corner bottom braces from 4’ long 16 ga channel
• Roof peak braces from 16 ga channel
• King pins from 2 ½” square, 14 ga galvanized tubing for 26’, 28’ and 30’ wide shelters
• Foundation anchors from 3’ long reinforcing steel rods

Pacific Rim Shelters Premium Model use a maximum spacing of 4’ between each support legs. Single trusses & legs are used for size 10’, 12’, 14’, 16’, 18’, 20’, 22’ and 24′ wide units. For 26′, 28′, and 30′ wide units, double roof trusses are provided, complete with king pin supports (upgraded braces) where snow loads require them.

All truss peak braces are supplied to provide additional support to roof and leg up to 12’ high. Double legs and trusses are used for units with 13’ and 14’ high legs. 14’ high structures are the tallest units supplied, and require Engineered Plans.

Options include part or full wall cladding, with frame outs for convenience doors and overhead door frames.

The shelter framework sits on the ground and is anchored with 3′ long reinforcing steel rods embedded into the ground. Threaded rod anchors are used when anchoring to concrete or asphalt surfaces.
