I couldn't be happier with my experience with Pacific Rim Shelters. The new owners, Braden and Rob, were great to deal with from the very beginning. They kept me updated throughout the process, communicated really well, and made everything easy. A big shoutout to Nick, who installed my shelter. He was professional, friendly, and clearly takes a lot of pride in his work. The quality of the finished shelter is excellent, and the attention to detail really shows. We purchased a 20’x12’ carport with full sides and both ends open from Rob. Great communication and follow up through out  the whole process. Rob is very easy to work with and attentive to the details of the purchase. Installed in mid July with Rob’s crew of Nick & Joe in the Cowichan Valley .Those 2 guys work very well together and take no short cuts. Good communication between the two of them as the carport was going up. Job site was organized and they left the area super clean. Very happy with the finished product . We went the route of getting a building permit so that added an extra layer to the process …. pleased to report out that the engineer signed off on the construction of the carport with no one having to come back and the CVRD building inspector also signed off on the construction during their first visit . Would recommend PRS as a local company on the Island to deal with. Strengths are attention to detail, communication, quality of product, follow up and great install crew of Nick & Joe. Our snowmobile club, North Island Snowmobile Association from Campbell River recently purchased a 14’x28’ x10’ steel shelter package from Pacific Rim Shelters. We contacted Diane & Mark and discussed what we wanted and ordered shelter with 50% down payment. Within a month we were notified that the company was being sold to new owners Rob and Braden. This was a seamless transition and new owners kept us informed of delivery date to their yard. There was a short delay on shipping which they informed us of. We were going to pick up shelter package but we didn’t realize that the business was relocated farther away from us with the new ownership. Discussed this with Rob and they offered to deliver to us for half the cost because of relocation of business from our initial purchase from old business owners. Braden delivered package to us and gave us numerous tips on assembly. They also supplied a new assembly manual that they had rewritten that was much better than the original manual. Quality and engineering of components are top notch. There after sales support is fantastic. They answered all our emails immediately and provided their cell number for any questions we may have during assembly. All this was very important to us since we were building this at high elevation beside our remote snowmobile cabin. It took our 6 man crew two 7 hour days to assemble building. I needed a specific size shelter to fit down between the raised concrete sides of my driveway. These folks were able to order exactly what I needed and we were able to choose a colour that matched as well. We did go for the stronger premium model with a higher weight load just to avoid any issues in the future. Pacific Rim Shelters was great to deal with in the purchase of our shelter and provided technical assistance as I assembled it on site. I recently purchased a custom size shelter from Mark and Diane. The experience of working with them was very informative and extremely helpful with the process of the purchase. The shelter itself is very well built and quite easy to erect it yourself the fact that it is engineered makes much easier to get a building permit (when needed)  I would highly recommend their product. With the custom sizes that you can order the possibilities are endless for your needs, mine shelter covers a 28' travel trailer a truck and camper and a boat, It was the most cost effective way to cover what i needed.
